Exploring the Virtual Exhibition

Search by Film //

Individual documents can be accessed by searching by film on the film page. After an introduction to the film with a synopsis, pre-production and production contexts, and the subsequent reception of the work, you can access the content of the archive. By clicking on the exhibit, the item will open and expand. Clicking on the title of the material will enable a detailed view of the information including the item’s context, individual captions, copyright and source information, and the archive signature revealing the item’s location in our collections.

Search using the Archive //

The archive page allows you to search for individual material across all films. Searches can be restricted to one or more categories, and one or more films. With just one click you can then access a detailed view of the exhibit. You can also share your results on social media.
